A Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to Eastbrook! Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website.

We are immensely proud of our school and the offers that we provide the children within both the formal and informal curriculum. We want them to be equipped with the necessary essential knowledge and skills to thrive; however, alongside this, we care deeply about their character and the type of adults they will become. We want to make sure that the children have a real connection with their local community and are endlessly curious about their learning and the world around them.

We are nestled in the heart of Southwick, near Brighton, serving both the Southwick and Fishergate communities. As a school, we are both grateful and proud of the grounds and facilities that the children can access. We have large playing fields and playground space for the pupils to explore and play in. Alongside this, we have a heated swimming pool that we use for large parts of the year.

We are a tight-knit community with a high number of long-standing established staff and a highly engaged Friends of Eastbrook (PTA equivalent!) who create the most amazing opportunities for children and families in the community. Our annual Firework display, particularly, is increasingly famous in the local area!
