Science
A big part of science is about experimenting and seeing what happens. Have a look at some different experiments below that you can try at home. Make a note of anything you observe and see if you can explain why it happens. Have fun!
Task One - Fireworks in a glass - Just using water, food colouring and oil, can you create fireworks in glass? Can you explain why it happens?
Task Two - Density - Using different liquids can you create a rainbow glass? Think about why some liquids go to the bottom of the glass and some stay at the top.
Task Three - Lava Lamp - A lava lamp is a wonderful sight, can you make your own using a clear plastic bottle, oil and water?
All instructions can be found in the resources below.
